The 'Vette went 12.1 @ 118mph. It's put away for the winter so I won't be breaking into the 11s with it. I'm pulling the motor out this winter for some engine work. The motor will be going into my Camaro where it will hopefully pop some wheelies and run me into the 10s. :)

In the sig. If I would ever tune the dang thing I know I could get a better time. But they are kicking me off now so how can I tune it with no more than 2 runs a night.

Also in my sig:
'69 13.88 with a faulty fuel pump and a carburetor that was assembled backwards stealing a measured 100RWHP.

'02 13.15 on a 2000RPM clutch feathered drop due to lack of traction.

Yes, I know, excuses, excuses, excuses.

I will get into the 12s! :)

new best:
14.759 @ 93.22mph best 60' 2.204 best R/T .118 (.000 perfect light)

previously:
15.457 @ 87??

Old time (and first time drag racing) was with 2" duals to targa tips, Performer intake, and dist. recurve. New time added CompCams 268 high energy cam (218/218 .454), matched valvesprings, CompCams ProMagnum lifters (antipumpup). Virtually zero tuning has been done, hope to see some gains at the dyno in October. Next engine mod will be Sportsman2 heads and headers after suspension work is done.

Oliver, what have you done to your car to make it faster ?
1) better and lighter tires (ET Street tires instead of Drag Radials (better traction and only 22 lbs instead of 29 lbs per tire)) and rims (13 lbs/rim Convo Pro's instead of 17 lbs/rim TT2's). The total weight savings on the rear wheels and tires alone is 22 lbs of centrifugal weight which is worth ~ 100 lbs... Front skinnies (total of 25 lbs centrifugal weight saving ~ 100 lbs effective weight savings)
2) carbon fiber driveshaft and halfshaft (half weight of the steel shafts) (not in the car yet.. but will be installed before I'll race again)
3) Cold Air Intake (reduced the intake air temp by 10 - 40 degrees which should be good for 8 - 20 HP) (I measured the difference)
4) Race seat (at least 20 - 30 lbs weight saving)

Oliver
