Well next week I am going to a place here in Michigan that uses a chasis Dynojet to see what the BB really makes for HP. Should be interesting to find out the true numbers. They charge $125 for the first hour, which should be about 3 to 4 runs, they also do the A/F ratio and any other tunning you want. I think it should make about 300 to 350hp at the rear wheels? Any other ideas or suggestions before I go? Thanks

I think you should be right around the 400rwhp mark. You might try a run with the hood open with no air filter comparred to one with the hood closed filter on, you might find your hood / filter is costing some power, especially with a somewhat tall intake manifold

make sure your rear tires are fully inflated
adjust your valves
fresh plugs
adjust float bowls, timing, proper fuel pressure
give your carb a good blast of carb cleaner, especially the high speed air bleeds
make sure your carb likage allows the carb to fully open. You would be suprised how many guys don't have this properly adjusted. Have someone sit in your car and press the gas peddle all the way to the floor and see if all four butterflies are wide open.

My tires are BF Goodrich T/A 255-60, I usually run about 30 lbs of air, should I increase it to maybe 36?

Yup, it causes less deflection when they sinch the rear of the car down and the tires stay "more round"

After thinking about it a bit more I would not be suprised to see you over 400 at the wheels.

Go to the Great Lakes section, bunch of guys are getting together for dyno runs 30 minutes south of Cleveland, charge is 45 bucks for 3 pulls. First weekend in Oct.
