How Long Should 76 Vette Fast Idle
When first starting it goes to fast idle, idle speed is okay but it takes 5 minutes before it will kick down to normal idle seems like a long time for car to warm up is their something I can do to reduce this time? or is something not working right? I prefer not to put it in gear until it is off of high idle. Thanks for your help

My idle speeds are fine but how long the car fast idles is my question is 5 minutes to long when outside temp is 75 degrees

Might need to adjust the choke. Mine will take 1-2 minutes when it's warm outside but up to five minutes when it's cold.
