OT - Is this a good deal?
I posted in "other cars" section but I was hoping to get a few responses here too.
I have a friend selling a 94 camaro with the LT1 engine, 124k miles, decent interior and a few minor problems (dents) on the body. I can get it for $2200. The appearance is fine with me but what are these cars going for? It needs a starter solenoid and tires.
Any comments are appreciated

That sounds about right to me, F-bodys loose value fast and all that mileage dont help any either. But you would think they would try and get a little more because of the LT1 engine, are you sure there is no engine problems with it?

They have been letting me try to sell it for them - no takers at $4650 or even $3500. They'll let me take it for the $2200.
I know it needs a solenoid and the engine light comes on after driving for awhile. They had it diagnosed and spend $110 to replace a fuse, then the engine light goes out. I've driven it alot and it seems fine, just wondering why nobody was really interested. Sounds cheap to me especially like you said with having the LT1.
