A CI-6 Car Show Winner
Finished after 2 years!
Here it is folks! Nearly 2 years and $20K later I have an almost new 1975 Corvette L-48! The color is red metallic pearl, the same color used on the 2003 Anniversary Corvettes. The interior is mostly original in the medium saddle color. I have already won a trophy at a local "cruise night" and the car will be in a couple more shows over the next 2 weeks. My goal was to build this car as close to original as I could with the exception of polyurethane bushings throughout the suspension and the composite rear spring I think I have reached my goal. I want to thank all the wonderful people on this forum who have been a great help to me in getting this car back on the road. The last photo is what the car looked like when I got it :eek: I sure hope these pictures work:

I tell you, they should've made the anniversary vette a C# because that paint sure looks a lot better on yours than it does on C5's. I really like it, must be the swerves and lines of the car that really bring out the paint
