Here are some inexpensive replacement for the power window switches. They are a direct (snug) fit into the cutout on the center console. The good news is they are only $2.86 each at delcity.net (#73553). The bad news is a minimum $25 order. If you need other electrical goodies to get to the $25 its a good buy. Sorry about the picture quality.

i have a 76 where they are on the parking brake console. Im going to get a non power window console drill two small holes in it and then mount two 3 position stick style switches(I cant rember what they are called right now). But those reminded me of the giant rocker switch down by feet on the right hand interior panel. I have no clue as to what it does and somehow i didnt notice it untill the 2nd day i had the car. Ive tried following the wires and jsut looses them in a huge mess under the steering colum. It doesnt appear to do anything, but it lights up when on. Not a throttle stop or ignition kill or anything.

That switch by your feet is for the rear window defrost.
