C5 Exhaust for a C3?
I just love the way the 4 oval tips look on a C5 exhaust setup, anyone know if the 90 degree twisted muffler setup can be adapted to fit under a C3? I'm deleting the spare tire entirely so that's not an issue.
I'm going to glass in my rear filler panel on my '69 and put in a slight curved area in the center like the C5 to accomodate the tips, but I'm wondering if the body is wide enough to house the mufflers??
Any thoughts?
Ryan

Anything can be made to fit...improvise, improvise, improvise....just expect tp spend a few solid days at the muffler shop bending pipes, and make sure you have deep pockets...full of Franklins

Remove the spare tire/carrier and you suddenly have LOTS of room to get creative with exhaust system solutions under the rear of a C3. I don't think there is room to run pipes up/over the half shafts (still have to run them under the diff IMHO) but you could position the mufflers/tailpipes like with the C5.
