[car stereo install prob] custom autosound radio
urchased a custom autosound USA-2 radio for my 74 and have had a few problems with it. i hard wired everything in, solid connections...connections at the fuse block appear to be fine...radio powers up, and sounds fine...the display only works when displaying the clock, am bands and tape play...i can hear fm bands loud and clear, however it doesn't display the frequency i mounted the ground wire to the bracket for the heater cables underneath the center console, where it was before i contacted custom autosound and they think it's a problem with the stereo? any other ideas?

Re: [car stereo install prob] custom autosound radio (Air980)
I had to send mine back twice under warranty before they just replaced it. It has been fine for the lat 6-7 years, but I bought a spare at a swap meet - just in case.
