I am not in the market to buy right now but this may be to good to pass up, he is looking for $8500, it is a small block 4speed. Green outside, black leather inside. "Nothing wrong with the car" so he sais other then typical things that will go wrong with a 30+ yo car. 95000 original miles, not sure if the numbers match, probably not, I need to go see it probably tomorrow.

My question is what is the value of this car assuming it is as described, driveable in need of TLC?

If anyone here is interested let me know and I will pass along info to you or depending on what it looks like I may buy a new toy!

Depending on what TLC means it can get very expensive...

think suspension is $1k+
interior is $1k+

etc.

NOM is (to most people) not worth as much...

And you are in salt area, so the frame/birdcage might be rusty (even more pain!)

Take a look though, because you never know!

:iagree: If it's solid and as described, $8.5K is a very good deal. It would probably go for $13K or more on the open market if there's no rust, the drive train's in good shape, and the paint and interior are presentable.
