i believe some have fit them on their c3 w/o relocating it...with 295/50, its definitely necessary....if you dont want to go through the trouble of relocationg the bracket, you can grind down part of the bracket on a 45 degree angle...the top half, cause that the only part that is close to the actual tire.....the other half is in line with the rim, and that is not going to move any closer....i did this to mine with a simple cut off wheel.

I have 275/60/15 mounted on my stock 8" Ralley wheels at the back, and the Parking Brake cable is still in stock location :yesnod: This is on the 75. :steering:

That's the size I had one the rear before my new 16's. The guy before me put them on but was using spacers to clear the calipers. The bracket wasn't close to touching.

I had 275/60R15's on my '69 Vert and the e-brake bracket would scratch the tire a little bit.. but nothing to be concerned about...

Here's a pic I just took of the rear driver's side. The tread itself is on the inner edge of the fenderwell and the outer part of the tire sticks out about 3/8" inch outside if you run a straight edge down the side of the car. This '71 has a fiberglass mono-spring that has got to only be rated at 300lbs as it is way too springy on any bumpy/wavey roads and when I turn into my driveway over the bump I hear a scraping sound on the passenger rear side. I haven't researched it enough yet to see if I am scraping the tire, but I didn't have the problem until I switched tires from the '74 to this one. The '71 came with 235/70's.

How bad do they stick out? 1/2 a tread, a full tread??

I had to relow mine also. To close for my wild ash driving.
By the way it only take about a hour per side and your done. Cables work fine.
