Car wants to stall on hard turns, etc....
The title basically says it all.
On my small block with auto I have an Edelbrock 1405 (fairly new, out of the box). It runs 100% EXCEPT when I do a hard left or right turn such as a U-turn, it acts like it is either fuel starved or dumping fuel (I can't tell which). RPMs drop almost to the point of stalling.
Also I noticed yesterday that when I had to brake VERY HARD, the same thing happened.
I opened up the carb to check the float drop and float level. They were both right on the money. My fuel pump pressure is 6-7 PSI
I'm open to any ideas or suggestions

I have the same carburetor, and mine rarely does exactly what you are saying.
I looked at the instruction manual recently but the photos are not too clear. Where do you measure the floats from???/ The edge--the center--???
I think it said 7/16" level
