a vinyl top coupe and a you gotta see from Car show Austin, TX
These were at a car show in Austin, a couple of weekends ago. Only vinyl top coupe I've ever seen -- factory option? Don't know what to say about the green one other than :eek: :eek:

The vinyl top was offered as an option. I didn't think it was an option on the t-top cars though, only on the hard top coupe?

eww, i like neither of them. The vinyl kind reminded me of this new buick around here i see cruising through the college looking for girls, they did the vinyl in plaid along with a few interior things and bling bling rims

Ronnie, my car was in that show--I'm real offended you didn't stop by and say hello!:D
The green car was definitely a dirt tracker--it had a roll cage and was stripped down pretty thoroughly. I somehow managed to miss the vinyl top car. Looks kinda pimp to me--did it have velour upholstery, too?

Guessing that green thing was totaled and instead of junking it they converted it to a dirt/circle track car. Looks like something out of Mad Max. Guessing it is better than seeing it rot outside next to a barn.
