Dumbest question of the month...
I can't remember and am hoping someone can give me the answer. I want to place an order for some Zaino polish, but they have one kind for clear-coat finishes and one for "regular" paint. My '81 was one of the last 500 to roll off the St. Louis production line. If I remember correctly, my car would have the "regular" paint finish, as opposed to clear-coat. Can someone confirm this for me? I'd like to place that order ASAP.
Thanks all!!!
Thanks all!!!

Re: Dumbest question of the month... (Leos 81)
All 1978-1980 cars were painted with acrylic lacquer. All 1981s assembled in St. Louis were also painted in acrylic lacquer. The 1981s assembled in Bowling Green, as well as all 1982s, were painted with an acrylic enamel base coat/clear coat system. If your paint is original, it is "regular."

It was not a silly question! If you use Z3 on lacquer it will lift the colour off. So stay with Z4. It worked for me.
