Does anyone sell a custom gauge closter for an 82?
In my dad's 82 some of the gauges are on their way out (bouncing, etc.). He'd much rather replace all the gauges, both the speedo/tach assembly and the center console assembly, with Autometer gauges for a number of reasons. I was wondering if anyone made a bezel of some sort that has pre-cut holes for these style gauges similar to the ones that are available for the older Camaros, etc.

There are several CF members on here that have gone to aftermarket gauges, and I think most of them are behind the original cluster face plates.
Hopefully some of them will chime in here. If not, you might want to start another post with a different title like "Aftermarket gauges".

I don't have a way to install it into the newer dash but here's what the tach and speedo look like installed into the older style dash. You could try switching dash pad pieces to get the older look and the Autometer gages.
Here is the link to the pdf file which has the pattern for the gage mount which will bolt up to the factory gage pods. You will have to remove the plastic sheild from the factory gages to get it all to fit.

Good luck!
