Default aftermarket hoods

I am planning to look at an aftermarket hood in the morning that is for sale locally and am looking for opinions, experiences, and advice.

Check the hinge attachment points and the glass around them closely.

I like my hood. I got alittle bit more clearance for the air cleaner with it. It doesn't fit perfect, and the hinge mounting was slightly differen't. All in all it wasn't a big deal to install it. You can't really tell it doesn't fit 100%. I will be repainting the car and trying to get it to fit alittle better. As far as the hinge mounting I believe the hinge mounting is somewhat universal and thats why It was slightly different. i wouldn't trade it for the world though.

:iagree: Check the fit first, or make sure you can get your money back if it doesn't fit to your satisfaction after you try it at home.
