I'm probably gonna have new paint done this winter. I want to keep it yellow but was thinking about black stripe(s) down the car. Not sure which way to go, like the 82 coll. ed. stripe or just twin stripes. Anybody got stripes? Pics? Ideas?

Does anyone have dark stripes on a dark colored car? I'm considering blue with black stripe(s)... It's going to be a medium/darkish blue. I just posted in another thread that I want to powdercoat my luggage rack black, whether or not I do the stipes.

I'm probably in the minority here, but, I think the late C3s painted Bright Yellow look just right as they are, w/o stripes. They're eye-catching and outrageous, but tasteful, not too gaudy or 'ricey'.....
What color stripes would make the Yellow 'stand-out' even more?
Red (Ronald McDonald's car)?
Black (a bumble-bee!)?
Green (a dandelion?)?
Pink (I don't EVEN wanna go-there...)?
White ( :U )?
If you'd add the Stinger-hood, like TTopTony, with Black accents, that might not be (too) bad, but other than that,.....

Very nice. I was gonna do twin stripes like that but with my color i was thinking i would get a "bumblebee" look as Glensgages put it. Now i'm leaning toward the back & top like TTop Tony and break it into the "fanged" hood like like Ed T had with the outlined pinstripe. Got a pretty good idea of what i'm gonna do. Thanks all.
