C3 factory stereo radio
Does anyone know where I can buy the small, stereo indicator bulbs in the '68 to '76 radios? According to the service manual the bulb is a #2182D. Can't locate them anyplace.

I've had to do this about 15 years ago for another old GM radio. If you can find a shop that repairs car radio units, and yes they are finding it hard to stay in business, then they will probably have it in stock. These old Delco units are still plentiful enough that repairs are being made inspite of the USA now being a "throw-away" society.
You also might try to cross-reference it online. Radio Shack might be able to order one. They have an online reference catalog. Search for Delco radios online you should see some hits for repair and parts.

Unfortunately the authorized Delco repair centers won't sell any parts to retail customers. They won't even tell me if they have the bulb in stock! :mad

Yes, I know that.
That's why I suggested going to other places and searching the Internet.
When dealing with cars 25+ years old you will have to forget about authorized repair of anything...... you will have to rely on the aftermarket crowd.
