What do you mean in your passenger storage compartment? Ive got a 12" 1200 watt amp and two 6x9's in the back of mine.

I am sure the speaker would fit, but is it going to give enough air space for the speaker to throw correctly? I thought about it for mine as well. I ended up buying a bass tube(Not cheap neon tube from walmart!) and a coustic amp. The tube had the crossover and amp built in (200 watt RMS) and the coustic is 160se. I have pioneer 6x9s in the back and dash speakers. They sound okay as they are in the cheap little 6x9 boxes. I want to mount them on the rear panel some how.

Yes, the jack storage compartment is what im going to try and fit the 10" in. I put the jack in hte storage compartment directly to the right of the jack stor. comp. With the jack out of the way i think there will be suficient volume for the 10" to work correctly. Especially since all the 3 storage compartments are linked together and not seperated by any walls. So its like a really big box under the doors. From my experience with car audio this looks promising and i think it will sound pretty good, that is, If i can hear it over my exhaust. :D

Search in the audio section for this. A while back a guy documented his fiberglassing of the storage compartment for a 10" sub in a C3. :yesnod:

Did you build boxes for your rear speakers?
I put in new 6x9's, however they didn't seat worth a dayum is the old speaker wells. I tossed the old brackets out, and then built the wells
up with a 1x3/4 frame. The speakers fit snug then. I also removed the
old speaker grills. The face of the Pioneers looked pretty good on their
own, so I left 'em like that. The sound is great out of them, so I'm not too sure I need to do any more with them......But that subwoofer really would
be nice to have in there.

I did this a while ago. I made a glasfiber box with MDF top. It's a really tight fit and the box is the absolute minimum recommended size for the sub, but it works!
Here are some pics of the project:

Mine is a bit different then the above design. It is totally hidden.
I did have a bit of trouble getting it in, and I will probally never get it out, that is until I completly restore the car. But I like it and it works great.
As for my amp. You can see in the pictures. I mounted it on the back wall.

Looks great Chris, will need some help for you this winter when I finish my setup. Running Alpine 75X4 to the 6X9Alpines in the dashtop, and Polk MoMo 6.5 components then will run a 400 single channel amp for my 10" sub. All using an Excellon preamp processor and adding an iPod to it. Like you and Metal Wolf I may move my Polks from the rear corners to the kidk panel or even door panel if the 6.5 will fit then play with the placement of the tweeter. I like this better than the rear placement because I drive 99% of the time with my roof down and the sq take a kicking with the roof partially covering my speakers.
