High beam indicator light replacement
The high beam indicator light is out in my '80. Is bulb removal from under the dash or by removing the speedo/tach lense assembly?

I believe you get to it through the speedo lens. Then you remove the bezel held in with allen head screws and you will see the bulbs. It is not difficult.

If it is like my 81, you can get to it from under the dash. The problem is, figuring out the correct bulb. I can post a picture if needed, I have my dash out right now.

When replacing the brake indicator light on my 79, I removed the lens. Then removed the screws and pulled the unit far enough forward to reach behind.

Re: High beam indicator light replacement (Jmccreary)
Update: Got the bulb from the local parts store. Removed the speedometer lense and the bezel that has the allen head screws. The bulb is recessed about an inch inside the square 1 inch box. Fingers won't fit inside, plyers don't work. So I used the cap of a marker that was the same diameter as the bulb. Push it over the bulb and pulled it out. Installation was the reverse.
Now I know when the high beams are on.
