You should get some responses. I know that Van Steel sells them. I think a few guys in here were buying or considering them.

Sure do! Everything I read about aluminum driveshafts said do it. They actually flex to absorb the shock of hard launches. I went with 3" which just fit in the tunnel.

I had aluminium Half shafts in my 69 .They worked well with traction of 335 rear tires. Aluminium driveshaft is another thing because of lack of tunnel space.Aluminum shaft needs to be larger diameter for same strength.

I used a 88 vette driveshaft and cut it down a couple of inches. Works fine and shaved about 3 pounds off.

Another question for ya. How does that compare which 1330/1350 grade alum.
Thanks for your help!!!!!

Never heard of it. I've heard of 1330 and 1350 series u-joints but not aluminum. Sorry. If your asking how the aluminum holds up w/those joints, I'de say just like any other u-joint would. They will hold well.

Not sure. I have never had a set made before. My driveshaft guy just told me that he could start making them for us.
