G/f has spent last few days planning her mother's funeral, but today, she said, "Let's take the Vette out for a ride!!!"
A rare nice day here in S.W. Pa., we put about 75 miles on the '82, stopping for ice cream, gas, & mini-golf (?).
We saw many hot-rods today, including a guy I know who was taking his '23 T-bucket on it's maiden voyage. The 383" in it went 11.70s in a '76 Nova; the T-bucket weighs 1700 lbs (?), and he wants to put a 6-71 blower on it... :crazy:
We sighted multiple Corvettes; more than a few C3s, and a nice Pale Yellow C2 (big-block Stingray?). Of course, we saw many C4s & C5s; some even 'waved' back to us.....
