CAT and Proform anyone used their roller rockers etc
Hi , two brand names i dont know here in New Zealand, and i am looking for parts for my b/b 69 engine.
Are these parts any good or cheap and possibly trouble?

IMO Proform is acceptable, not bad but not outstanding. CAT, I would stay away from their stuff. IMO they only sell junk. If you want quality rockers for a good price go to enginekits.com, they have stainless steel crower type full rollers for 200$

I don't know about rockers, but my 406 has both a CAT stock-type harmonic damper and splayed 4-bolt main caps. No problem with either, although I am considering swapping the damper to a fluid-filled type at some point.

The Proform roller rockers will work OK on mild spring pressure stuff. We had a set deform badly on some good springs. The roller pins were coming out. The aluminum just went oblong in the hole area.
My suggestion is to avoid them and spend the money on even a basic set of Crane Energizers or something. Same with Omega brand.
CAT is another Chinese mfg and the sell lots of stuff. Generally it works pretty decent, but the machine quality and finish is pretty poor. You just need to check it real close.

I used the roller rockers on a 400 HPish engine without any problems. Raced it quite a bit also. I had the Edelbrock Performer RPM engine setup and no problems whatsoever with the rockers.
