700R4 What is to much? HP/TQ
My tranny shop called and the stator(?) rod/shaft at the pump failed/broke. This in return burn up the transmission. It seem that my old TPI motor couldn't put out this much HP or TQ to do that, could it. How much can a 700R4 take? And yes I was juicing it, but not at the bottom end.

I don't know what those are rated at, maybe less than the vett trans. Did you have WOT in 4th or not? I think all non vette trannies didn't allow for WOT in 4th stock.

A stock 700 is pretty week, 300 hp or so.
They can be made to survive at 750+ if done by the right people...
