Heater/AC controller
Has anyone taken apart their Heater controller and repaired it? They are $150 in the catalog. I would rather spend the money elsewhere. My 1979 contoller leaks vacuum in every position except off.

Re: Heater/AC controller (adamdinat)
Yes.
Right.
The vac. switch itself is not switching due to vac. leak as the usually plastic rivet is not holding the 2 main switch parts together well. Besides replacing, it is also possible to tighten this &/or lube w/ a thin layer of white lithium grease or vasoline to fix.
