To those in the middle of your projects...
Do you ever just want to ditch your vette and get a diffrent C3?
Sometimes I do. I'd like to get a '68 with the tri-power 427 and manual trans. But i'd probably just end up throwing just as much money at it to get it exacyly where i want my current one.
What would you get if you could do an even trade? Just curious.

Mines not a project but No! Not at all as far as a different or another Corvette goes but I am burnt out after years of this and that and have lost interest .The car just sets covered up.

Oh yeah, I looked at a lot of other C3's because I wanted something else to drive while working on the 82. Most of the cars here are plain rubbish and a lot of others were so so but overprice a lot (imagine 16K$ for a reasonalbe 78/79 it seems that everyone here, no matter what state the car is in wants about 14K$ and up)
So after looking..lokking and more looking I decided I'd get something else. Because I also needed something that could haul stuff I got a 83 C10 silverado instead.

Sure, if I could find someone to trade a 69 Big Block or a 67 for our 79, SURE.

Mine just has the Q-jet, but I bought a 2X4 setup for it to play with until I run in to someone handing out tri-powers on the street corner. :jester
Keep the faith in completing your project!! God knows I have and it's finally starting to pay off!!

I might trade mine for one of those old Shelby Daytonas or the new Ford GT40. Ha! Ha! Mine's not worth anything near what one of those would cost! But I can dream can't I?

Being one of those impantiently in the middle of his project (2 months for a Keisler  , six weeks for AFR heads  , valve-train on back order  ), I'm still glad I chose a 69 vert.
No. 1 - Once the bleedin' and cryin's over, I'm still thousands ahead against a C5 and maybe a couple G's on any decent late model Mustang. You gotta respect what you can do with "ricers", but it's not to my taste.
No. 2 - Living in Big D, I don't see myself driving work/home a dozen times a day
No. 3 - Dude, it's a Corvette!
