Default Big Block Water Pump Question

On my '69 427, what aftermarket aluminum water pump will work? I understand it is a short style pump, but does a Vette have any other differences? Anyone using an aluminum aftermarke type, if so which one. I need to order one this week. I see many in both Summit and Jegs.

Thanks in advance for all comments.

Dwayne

The water pump pilot changed in '71 from 5/8" to 3/4", so make sure you buy a short pump with a 5/8" pilot......since you have a '69 otherwise your water pump pulley won't fit.......
