Which family of Corvette engines were all produced at Tonowanda New York?
a) 327's
b) Fuelies
c) Big Blocks
I reckon the answer is Big block.....but im not certain...im sure some of you guys will put me straight.
The prize by the way is an imaculate C4 Vette

The 327s were actually made in Japan. The 283 was the last all American motor. They made it out of titanium.
That was back when the cars were only legal to be driven if you had a racing license. Then you could own one. But I knew a guy who got one illegally because his friend worked at a dealer. It was the fastest vette ever made, and the body was made out of aluminum.
You know, the Corvette was the first car made out of aluminum, but they decided to go to fiberglass because it was cheaper and because the president of Chevrolet had invested in a boating company.
Now you know!

Where are you located, Guy at the Gas Station? I seem to meet you in gas stations, auto parts warehouses, bars, and other places all over the country...

Hi David,
Would this be the Classic American "Win a C4" competition by any chance? I posted the very same question here a couple of weeks back & the answer is definately Big Block. But what year was unleaded made compulsory???
Good luck (I'm not entering, it was for a friend. Honest!)

1975 was the answer given in my post. But the 3 choices given as answers to the question are apparently 1976, 1977 & 1982(?)!!
