My gas tank is in :-)
I didn't think I'd get my tank in today because I thought the POR-15 would take longer drying than it did. It was cool and humid this morning and POR-15 doesn't like that combination. I started painting around 10:30 and while I was doing it the sun came out and the temperature jumped into the mid 70's. Around 2:00 the POR was dry so I headed off the auto parts store for some fuel line. I preped all the fuel lines and installed the tank. Everything is ready to go except for the exhaust. It is connected but I need to tighten everything down. I work in the morning so by tomorrow night maybe I'll be able to take the wife for some ice cream...........................

PORing myself today. Messed up a bracket though, so now I gotta figure out how to get this stuff off so I can do it over again. Have any pics of the tank?

I think the anti-squik pads were a rip-off. All they are is 40# tar paper. I was very disappointed with Zip. If you haven't ordered them don't.
