I need a crash course in engines!!!
Is there a good spot on the internet to learn about engines as far as cams, lift, and all the other lingo that goes along with it. I would like to get a better understanding of the talk used on this forum and with engines with regards to build ups and which part to use and why. Now that I sound like a total ametuer, any info would be much apprciated thanks in advance.

what? you weren't born with a piston in one hand and a distributor in the other?
hey, we all had to start at some point. beware of anyone, anywhere who says they know it all. i know i don't, and i'll bet there will be some pretty familiar names pop up and agree.
you have any questions, you just post them. we all learn from each other.
