Default cowl induction on a 77

I know there has been several discussions on cowl induction but I am looking for information on how to adapt to a 77 with a stock hood, what do I do about the aft hood seal? How big of a opening do I need? Thanks for any help. :seeya

JD corvette sells an alleged bolt on hood suposed to use all the same mounting hardware. contact them at 18008388353

I have a '74 hood (which is similar to the 77 hood) built into my tilt front. I built following cold air intake:





It really works. The assembly seals against the hood.. I modified the inside of the hood a little bit to get the maxiumim airflow through the cowl...
