Default 2 New Pictures

I have not spent much time here recently but I do check in to see what is going on. I just took two pictures of the Vette. One is just the Vette the other is the other hobby I have spent to much time and money on. My son and I have been able to spend a lot of time together on this hobby and we both really enjoy it. He is getting close to kicking my butt when we race. I just put a bigger motor in my truck to keep ahead of him. It is like putting a 540ci motor in the Vette. These nitro cars are a blast but take almost as much time as the Vette hobby.

....and they're much more expensive than they look. I have a few gas cars sitting on a shelf in the garage. Good thing I can't find a local race track nearby here in Houston or that would be the end of vette parts money. Fun stuff though.

Gordon - Do you have 2 speeds in any of yours? With the little 2 speeds those things can really get flying.

The only one that does not have a 2 speed is the small truck on the left. The road car is about a 50+ mph car and the two monster trucks will touch 40 mph. Yes they are expensive and have more upgrades available than you can imagine.

Yes it is a Saleen. My sons choice. The good thing is these bodies don't last to long when racing. The Lexan gets kind of beat up so the next one should be a C5. I have not found a C3 body yet.

That's pretty cool. I dig both. It's cool to have a hobby to share with your kids.

Nice pics. It has been so long since I have even seen any of my RC stuff. I have an Associated RC10LS that I thought was fast. 50MPH is really moving. That translate to about 500 scale MPH!!!!

RC is fun. I used to race battery cars track and offroad when I was younger. I still have the cars somewhere, but haven't driven them in years... :smash:
