Carb Replacement Recommendations
Replacing the Holley 750 dbl pumper on top of the following...
Suggestions?

Minimum RPM 3700, Max. RPM 7200, Valve float 7800

I have learned the hard way on carbs, bigger is not always better... I have a 850DP on my 454 and I don't need it most of the time, since I dont live at the dragstrip!. Figure out where you want to be for revs and then take you motor size, 383 multiply by rpms, example 6000 and then divide by 3456. That combo comes up with about 670 cfm. That is the size carb you should run. As far as what type I still really like the Holley DP's, great performance and looks great. Check out http://www.customrebuiltcarbs.com they can build you what ever and at a good price.
