I started searching for tach filter options after reading the archived memos. I found one at speedwaymotors.com and wrote them an email. The cost on their website is:
2752005 TACH FILTER EA $13.95

I just bought a USED tach filter on ebay for $23 + $6 S&H :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

It's basically a generic part for any GM HEI with Tach car, and some of the "Corvette" parts vendors do carry them.
