Engine swap..stock 350 to a 96lt1
Thinking about swapping the stock 350 in my 79 with a 96 LT1
looking for pros/cons and info on doing the swap as well as swapping the trans with a 700r4 or 4L60
any input is helpfull

Great choice, the 96 LT1 is a bit better than the 92-94 LT1. 4L60 should be a bit better than the 700, but may not fit as well as a 200R4.
Hopefully others will chime in on the particulars.
I would love to have a C-3 with this combo one day.
