Wow, now, that's the sound I'm looking for!
Finally got the time from work to finish my install of chrome Hooker sidemount headers with JCL spiral baffles in the side pipes, and, it's....
A W E S O M E ! ! !
It definitely makes the car have a "serious" edge to it.

Time to rock the neighborhood :reddevil
P.S. guess a new photo is in order soon.

It appears you might have had sidepipes before with the pic on the '69, but not chrome or JCL's? I love sidepipes also.... the ultimate *radio delete*.

Yea, before, I had stock exhaust manifolds, into sidepipes that was a long muffler under a fiberglass cover (painted black). Now, it's the hooker headers out the side with the big 4" side pipes and baffles. So much nicer, and the car is running much better now too.
Did notice today that the body panel near the collectors gets pretty hot. Anyone know if that will be an issue with paint discoloring or bubbling?

I have the same, Hookers and JCL's and enjoy them too.....
Now to finish this thing so I can hear them somewhere besides the driveway.

I just have a set of C4 Borla's on my C3 Crossfire. The sound is really good. It happens all the time that I can see a car in front of me or coming up behind me to lower the window part way. Then, after I pass or they pass, the window goes back up. Even had a Z06 with custom exhaust pull up beside me and lower the passenger window, listen for a while, roll the window up and go on. Truely, must have something to do with a C4 muffler being put on a C3.

  After a couple of months the baffles seem quieter to me than when I first installed them

I like mine too. Did you uncap them? Check my movie out in the sig. When I idle around car shows they get the looks.

SnoDrgn. Maybe your just be getting used to them. Might be time to play with the cap.............. I don't drive mine all the time, so when I start it up it's like the "first" time to me.
Just put baffles on the 2000 FRC, and they're really "Bad Boys." JCL :yesnod:
