Aftermath Of My Fire
About two weeks ago, I had a fire and reported the details in a thread entitled, "If You Do Not Have A Fire Extinguisher - Get One!"
I ran into a little trouble locally trying to get the FE recharged with Halotron. The local dealers do not stock it because it is so expensive; $32 a pound. My FE had about a pound left in it so one of the dealers put some nitrogen in it for me. He said it was good for about "half a fire!" That did not make me feel to comfortable.
So, I decided to buy a new one just in case. I contacted http://www.vetteworksonline.com Placed an order for another 2.5 Chrome Halotron. Through SpeedDirect; Vetteworks had supplied the original one.
Later, I spoke with Dan Hagerty of Vetteworksonline and when over what had happen regarding the fire. I told him I was going to keep my original FE for my other car. He responded by giving me a free bracket for my C5 out of the goodness of his heart.
I really appreciate doing business with people like Dan Hagerty. If you need a FE and I think we all do, get in touch with Dan.
