Default carb and power brakes

i have a 73 with power brakes with a brake booster thats bad.

will this cause the carb to not run correctly (cutting out etc) as the vac line is connected?

all help appreciated.

I would say yes. I believe the check valve is suppose to keep a bad brake booster from causing a problem with the carb, but anything is possible.

Easy check is to pull the line into the booster and plug it. If idle improves, you've found the problem.
