Corvette name plate on the back of 1969
does anyone have the exact hole locations (measurements) and hole Diameters for the installation of the individual letters??? CORVETTE on the rear of 1969 corvette :confused: :( :bb

Thanks for the quick response. I have found the measurements for the side Trim Stingray pieces However the AIM sheet for the rear Trim does not provide measurement or hole size info. :cry

Were they just filled in? On my '69, a previous owner filled all the holes for the emblems with bondo. All I did was reach inside with a pair of pliers and gave the part that oozed through a gentle wiggle. Voila!, perfect hole in the right place. Keep in mind I had it sanded down when I did this.
Ironically, I left the rear alone because I want to use gold later-model transfer lettering over the original Burgundy paint once it's done.

It looks like to me they had been filled in and new holes opened up in a previous job. What I am trying to do after repair is place the holes and trim in the original location. Regards Roger :chevy :thumbs:
