[San Antonio] Classic Corvette Night -- Now Twice Monthly!
Well...it looks like the monsoon season has passed and we'll get a few days of dry weather down here in San Antonio. Which is a good thing, because Hills & Dales Classic Corvette Night is now being held twice a month! That means we'll be gathering after work this Tuesday, the 9th of September. Please note the correct date is now shown -- must've been suffering from brain lock!!!
Join us near the corner of 1604 & Babcock this Tuesday, starting about 5:30 pm.

I won't be able to make this one, but the last was a lot of fun. Lots of nice vettes.
I wonder, though--do you think the Hills & Dale's people would have a cow if we threw up a barbeque grill in the parking lot, since they don't serve food?

Excellent idea, though I doubt I will be able to shoe horn a grill in my coupe. One of you convertible guys will have to bring one. Or, maybe we could take off our breathers and cook on our hot intake manifolds! Nothing like the smell of steaks and motor oil, yummy!

there's a bbq pit for customer use on the deck at the end of the building. If you'd stuck around after Lars' tuning day, you could have tasted an excellent brisket some guy spent all day cooking there. I suppose a brisket would be a bit much for a tuesday night (I'd have to take off at lunch to get started), but we could certainly grill some burgers, fajitas, etc.

I will try and make it. After the weekend I just had, it is a bit dicey on if I can make it for sure. Just what I need, another beer!
