thread locker on carb/intake bolts?
I rebuilt my carb. about 150 miles ago. Today I checked the torque of the carb to intake bolts and nuts (q-jet, 454). They were lose, I re-torqued to 14 ft-lb.
Has anybody used thread lock here? If so, should I use hi-temp? Will it hold and how hard is it to break lose?
Thanks.

Use the blue Loc-Tite. It's serviceable, as in you can easily remove fastener once applied. It'll be fine for your app.
I use this stuff on almost every fastener I take apart. :chevy
