which one....4speed auto or 6speed.....i need your help
had a post earlier but no answer.
My garage has two trannys in it. My 4speed auto, i believe a 4l60e out of my 92 firebird 6cyl convertible and a richmond 6 speed.
My corvette has a th-350 in it. I am looking at both options and wondering about labor pricing as well as performance. many of yall out there have tried these options and i would appreciate your input.
if the 4 speed auto then i will run a 2500 stall probably
if the 6 speed, i have a 14lb aluminum flywheel and a dual friction clutch.

since you have a TH350, I would think it would be an easier install than the 4l60e. No clutch linkeage and pedals to mess with. The 60e will give you close to the same gearing as the 6 speed. To you have an ECM for the 60e?

I don't know if the tranny will work without an ecm....you should contact some of the wireing harness mfg..like Painless. If they make the harness, they will also have the ECM.

For ease of install, go with teh auto. For max fun, go with teh 6-spd.
