Right Front blinker won't cancel!!!

Right Front blinker won't cancel!!!
Took it out for a drive today and noticed after it was in garage, the blinker was on. But just the right front.. So I played with the lever and it still blinked. Tried the hazzards and after a couple tries it went off. Any ideas??? The indicator on the dash would only blink when the lever was to the right or left. When centered nothing but the right front blinked.
