Lower a C3 2" front and rear?
I have a guy who wants me to lower his 79 vette (w/97 LT1 w/6spd) 2" front and rear. I have restored factory ride highth a number of times, and altering the rear is no problem at all. But....this guy wants me to lower the front 2". I am not really into the "custom" thing, but if that is what he wants, I shall try.
Has anyone out there done this?.....2" seems like a lot to me. I am wondering if anyone sells a "kit" of any kind. seems like i remember running into one at some time, but can't remember where.
Also, if anyone knows of any "snags" one can run into doing this, i would love to here them.
thanks a million-

A similar solution - I used Vette Brakes monoleaf springs front and rear and lowered my '70 quite a bit. I don't know if it was two inches, but any lower and I'm afraid the wheels will rub on turns if you hit a bump. They are very adjustable.
