Default CANNOT REMOVE RR TIRE........HELP!!!!!!!!

The RR tire on me vert is flat. I have my car on dollies and I jacked up the rear end to remove the wheel and it will not budge. I do not have on the parking brake. I will add that the vert has been sitting for three years. I wish to remove the wheel so I can have the tire inflated so I can push the car out to clean up my garage. I will be firing up the new engine at the end of next month. What could cause the RR wheel not to coe off the vehicle? Could the spindles have anything to do with this? HELP!!!!!!!!!!

Wheel has not been off for a few years and is stuck to the rotor, get out the big hammer, on the tire not the wheel :D

Spray some Liquid Wrench on the edge of the center hub on the outside and , using a spray nozzle, on the hub to wheel contact area from the backside. Give it some time to work and strike the wheel with a deadbolw hammer while turning the wheel.

Ahh, all you novices...you need to live with some British cars with old wire wheels to fully get the pain of stuck wheels! ;)

Ok...here are the things to do.

1) As much Liquid Wrench and WD40 as you can spray in there. Let it sit for at least a few hours. Overnight is great.
2) Nice deadblow hammer. Bonk it on the tire...if the wheel is nasty and you have a plastic or rubber hammer, you can do it on the wheel, but be very careful not to actually damage the wheel itself.
3) If all else fails, go to Home Depot and get yourself a butane torch. Heat the wheel by moving the torch slowly around the metal surfaces. DON'T HIT THE TIRE!!! (Sounds obvious, but people do by accident!) You'll need to get the surface really nice and hot.
4)Bonk the wheel with a hammer again.
5) "Rinse and Repeat" (heat and bonk, WD40 again if it doesn't work the first time.)

I had to do this exact same thing with the 1970 MGB-GT I bought a few months ago. The driver's rear wire wheel knock-off was totally seized (and the tire was totally flat. Doing this process twice worked (after two days of just WD40 and a sledgehammer not doing a damn thing!)

Good luck, and let us know what happens

1.jack the car so the tire is about 1 inch from the ground and make sure it on a jack stand. and remove the lug nuts
2. park your butt on the ground in front of the tire
3. kick the bottom/side wall as hard as you can a couple times and it should pop off
ExTRA this work better on a lift kicking the back side of the wheel, best kick i've sean to remove a stuck wheel is the monkey swing kick

I got it off today, I jacked up the rear, sprayed some kroil on the hub, and gave it a hard kick. Wheel came right off.
