7 leaf spring
While restoring my vett I took my 7 leaf spring to a shop that builds leaf springs . 60 dollars later I was pleased with my new spring until I rode in 2 different C3s that had 9 leaf springs. So I bucked up for a new nine leaf. What a smoother ride. Can anyone think of a good reason to use a 7 leaf. Mine is looking for a new home, I hate to just throw it in a dumpster.

Re: 7 leaf spring (79L82hatch)
I used the 7-leaf spring.
It helps me beat on new cars in the mountains / on autocross. :)

PS Now I use the 360# fiberglass spring. Ride's the same, handles slightly better.

Re: 7 leaf spring (Glenn's orange 69)
The spring was in the car when I bought it, I took it to St.Louis Spring and they built 2 new leafs for it and rearched it. If you want it I will give it to you.I will be at the Funfest on the 20th in Effingham. Home # 636-376-2175 Mike
