Will a owr brake booster fit in my '69 BB?
My master cylinder is leaking so I figured this is the time to upgrade to power brakes. The only problem is: I have roller rockers on the big block, so slightly larger valve covers (maybe 2"?) Will a booster fit?
And yes, I know about Hydrobooster, but I'm not interested in payin $600+ for the system. (Certainly when it taxes my old power steering pump.)
Thoughts?

I have a small diameter booster that I just removed to install the Hydro-Boost. I think that it is 7 inches in diameter. Check the hot rod magizines for information on them. One of those should give you plenty of clearance.

The stock valve covers do not have a slanted corner like the earlier cars. It looks like there is plenty of room for taller valve covers. The real problem may be trying to remove the valve cover later. Maybe others may have a better answer.
