Default Glue removal?

Pulled off OEM hood stripe and now I'm left with the glue. What will take off the glue and leave what little paint I have? Tried mineral sprits, paint thinner and lighter fluid. I know lacquer thinner will and the paint too.

If the glue is sticky the spray it with WD40 and wipe the glue off. Then use some rubbing alcohol to remove the WD40 or leave the WD40 it will make the paint shine for a short while. :jester

3M makes some products that should remove your residue. Go to their web site. I have found the best selection of their products in auto paint stores.
Good Luck :chevy

Try Goof-off, I use it to remove tar, paint from other car doors and just about anything else but not your paint. Will take gum and grease/oil spots out of carpet. Great stuff! You can get it at Kmart, Target and hardware stores.
