Default Cowl cleaning question...

Going to try and clean my 82 up this weekend, it’s been sitting under a tree for the past 6 yrs. My question is the cowl is full of dirt/crap, I pulled out as much as I could, if I use a hose and wash the dirt down the side of the inner fender wells will it washout or will I be filling up the inner fenders with the dirt.

I know on my 75 the cowl is totally seperate and filling the inner fenders would be a non issue. Try wiping that cowl down with some Mother's "Back to Black" great stuff!

Boy, was I ever confused on this one. I thought you were referring to the radiator cowl :banghead: The driver's side should wash out okay, the passenger side is a different story. You will probably want to remove the kick panel and the vent door which will enable you to get in there and clean the junk out of the bottom, then wash it out.
