Default pre-lube eng help

OK, I am getting old I admit it. To prelube engine you spin dist/oil pump shaft CLOCKWISE....right?? Thanks for helping me remember. :D

I've yet to prime my engine, but the sheet that came with the primer I bought says SB/BB chevy clockwise.

Or you but Marvel mystery oil (just a squirt) in each cyclinder, remove valve covers and pour oil all over rockers and springs, then bump the engine (without coil) a quarter turn, more mavel mystery. Then be patient. Check Fluids. Then bump engine without coil, don't want it starting yet, about 3 revolutions. If engine is free, spin her a few times (a few 1 minute or so spins) without coil to build up oil pressure.

Then replace coil and fire her up.

Work for me, car did not run in 15 years.....
