How do I tell if my vette has a performance cam?
I've had a number of people ask if I do and I just say "umm, i don't think so" and they say it sounds like there is one. How do I tell?

The L-82 actually does sound like it has a mild performance cam in it.
So technically, you do! The L-82 cam puts out about .450/.460 lift, which is quite healthy for a hydraulic flat-tappet.

:iagree:
The L82 cam has a good lope to it. Is the same cam that was used in the L46 engine (350ci/350hp).

L82 is a great street cam. Some people go to do a swap and the take out an L82 and slap in a 260H for instance. They think theyre taking a step up but they're really not.
